From Beauty to Banking... To Boarding Passes (and a Few Barking Passengers)

Hi there! I’m so glad you stopped by.

Before I was helping couples say “I do” in paradise or planning cruise adventures that check every box, I was collecting life experiences like stamps in a passport. My journey began in cosmetology, helping people feel confident and fabulous. From there, I navigated the world of banking, tackled the ins and outs of insurance, worked in government roles, and even owned a professional pet-sitting business. Yes, I’ve managed fur, forms, and all the logistics in between!

But through all of those roles, one thing stayed the same: I’ve always been that person, the first to raise my hand when it came to planning the trip, organizing the family and office parties and events, or pulling off a celebration that people would talk about for years.

So in 2019, I decided to stop treating travel like a side hobby and started treating it like the full-blown passion (and business) it was. I launched my professional travel agency, and I haven’t looked back since!

WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU…

Whether you’re floating down the Danube, getting married on a beach in Mexico, or organizing a group getaway to an all-inclusive paradise, my job is to make the process easy, joyful, and full of unforgettable moments.

I'll take care of the logistics, the puzzle pieces, and the behind-the-scenes magic, so you can focus on the good stuff—like clinking glasses at sunset or lounging by the pool with zero stress.

As a Professional Travel Advisor, I bring:

  • Personal travel experience

  • Specialized training and certifications

  • A global network of trusted partners from suppliers, vendors, and colleagues

  • Insider knowledge that goes way beyond Google

  • Deep passion for staying informed in the ever-evolving travel industry, especially with new advancements in AI technology.

And I don’t just rely on glossy brochures or pretty resort photos—I attend conferences, trainings, webinars, and familiarization trips regularly, so I can confidently tell you what’s actually worth your time, money, and your precious PTO days.

If a resort doesn’t live up to the hype? I’ll tell you.
If there is a cruise line that’s perfect for your vibe? I’ll know it.
My mission is to craft travel experiences that stay with you—because they were everything you dreamed of and more.

I am so excited to get to know you, my new travel friend!

  • Things that spark joy, laughter, and a little bit of fun:

I was born and raised in Northern Utah, spent 16 years in Reno, NV, and moved back to Northern Utah about 11 years ago to be closer to family and friends.

My husband, Ty & I have been on and off since high school. Think of our relationship as a romantic comedy with a few commercial breaks. But no matter how many plot twists we’ve had, he still knows how to make me laugh, keep me grounded, and remind me that we’re way better together. Honestly, I think I like it that way.

Our son, Austyn, now 20, surprised us by arriving early at just 28 weeks of gestation. From that tiny start, he’s grown into an amazing person, and watching him grow into an adult has been one of life’s greatest experiences; full of love, laughter, and plenty of unforgettable moments.

We share my home, and most of our furniture with two cats: Maya, the mischievous, curious, and clever troublemaker; and Arya, the sweet, clingy, adorable, clueless lovebug.

My best friends? Absolute legends. They’re the kind who show up with snacks, a prank or two, a mysterious stash of quarters, because you never know when a card game might break out, and a talent for turning any average day into something unforgettable. What starts as a quick hangout somehow snowballs into spontaneous plans, questionable decisions, and the kind of laughs that leave your face sore and your brain asking, “How did we get here?” In the best way, of course.

My favorite place to be is near water, whether I’m parked in a beach chair nursing an ice-cold drink or perfecting my “float like a jellyfish” skills on the way to a swim-up bar. Water is my happy place and unofficial soul therapist.

I’m obsessed with travel, obviously! Throw some sunshine, ocean breezes, and the “no worries, just fun” vibe of an all-inclusive resort or cruise my way, and I’m in pure vacation mode.

♦ I thrive on community events, farmers markets, and yard sales, especially when I walk away with something I absolutely didn’t need, but couldn’t live without.

♦ I believe brunch is a love language. Also, I love eggs, a lot. My husband says I’ll put an egg on anything, and honestly, he’s not wrong.

Shopping counts as cardio, because lugging bags is a workout, right?

♦I’m all about watching movies, especially if there’s a love story, because honestly, I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. That’s exactly why I love planning Destination Weddings and Honeymoons, it’s all about celebrating love in the most meaningful way..

Comedy shows? They better be so funny I snort at least once.

Spa days with hydrotherapy and massages! Yes! Sign me up! I love them!!!!

I throw a epic themed party, think fun decorations, funky or fabulous themed clothes, music playlists quirky games, and delicious food.

I want to like camping, I really do, but…..tent life and I are not on speaking terms. I’m currently manifesting the world’s cutest RV trailer, complete with a massive bathroom, so I can “camp” without having to crawl out of a sleeping bag at 3 a.m. just to pee in the woods. There might be a bear out there. Um, no thank you. My husband says I just want a $25,000 bathroom on wheels. And you know what? He’s absolutely right.

♦ I’ve recently become a full-on football fan. My team is the Chiefs, especially because one of my dearest friends, who passed away a few years ago, was a die-hard fan. Watching them play now just feels right.

♦ I’m also a huge fan of demolition derbies and car races. There’s something thrilling about the roar of engines and a little controlled chaos.

Taylor Swift’s music is my endless soundtrack and soul boost.

I love Dolly Parton all women who sparkle with sass, smarts, and big dreams. I made it to Nashville, TN, a few years ago but somehow missed Dollywood, so it’s definitely on my bucket list. Like Dolly says, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose,” and I’m planning to do just that.

That’s all about me, now I can’t wait to get to know you!

  • In 2018, I took my very first cruise, a 5-night sailing aboard the Carnival Triumph. I met up with a group of girlfriends from Reno, NV, and we set off from New Orleans, full of excitement and zero clue just how much this trip would change my life.

We cruised to Cozumel, then tendered to the stunning Isla de Pasión, a postcard-perfect private island with white sand, turquoise water, and that peaceful “island time” vibe you never want to leave. (Fun fact: the photo on my homepage was taken right there!) That trip was filled with sun, laughter, and so many firsts, but the biggest surprise came afterward.

When the cruise ended, my friends headed home, and my husband flew in to meet me in New Orleans. We spent the next few days exploring this vibrant, soulful city, eating beignets in the French Quarter, dancing to jazz music on street corners, and soaking in all the charm, color, and flavor the city has to offer.

It was during that trip that something clicked.

My friend booked the cruise through a travel agent, and from planning to sailing, the whole thing felt like a breeze, fun, effortless, and totally exciting. That little spark of “Hey, I could do this!” quickly turned into a full-blown passion… with a little nudge (and plenty of support) from the amazing travel agent who helped get me started. And just like that, my first cruise wasn’t just a vacation. It was the beginning of a brand-new adventure, one that led me straight to becoming a travel advisor.

  • In the fall of 2024, my husband and I gave our son, Austyn the ultimate graduation gift: a 28-day backpacking adventure through London, Scotland, and Ireland. Just the three of us, our backpacks, and a shared love of exploring the world together.

We kicked things off in London, weaving through the morning rush hour on the Underground, watching business people hustle while we soaked in every sight like wide-eyed tourists. From there, we journeyed north through Scotland, where we searched for Highland cows, wandered through misty castles, stood on the edge of Loch Ness, and watched my husband master left-side driving through the windy Scottish roads (not without a few gasps from the passenger seat!).

Then came Ireland, green, magical, and full of heart. We kissed the Blarney Stone, explored my husbands bucket list item: the dramatic cliffs of Moher, wandered the lively streets of Dublin, listened to live music in cozypubs, visited the charming town of Doolin, and a ferry ride to the Aran Islands brought us to a world of timeless beauty, cliffside forts, stone paths, and the quiet rhythm of island life.

One of my favorite moments from the trip? A peaceful sunset over the countryside, surrounded by family, with nothing but rolling hills and adorable sheep in the distance.

It wasn’t just a trip, it was a celebration of how far our son had come, and a reminder of how meaningful it is to share the world with the people you love most.
